MarbellaTown Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to MarbellaTown on Plaza General Chinchilla, I honestly wasn’t expecting much from the exterior — it blends right into the charming whitewashed buildings of the old quarter. But that’s actually part of its appeal, you know? This four-star property doesn’t scream for attention; instead, it sits quietly in one of Marbella’s most coveted spots. The moment you step inside, there’s this immediate sense that you’ve found something special — not flashy, just genuinely well-placed and thoughtfully run.
Location Magic
Here’s what I mean about location — you’re literally in the heart of Marbella’s old town, surrounded by narrow cobblestone streets and that famous Andalusian charm. The Orange Square (Plaza de los Naranjos) is practically at your doorstep, maybe a two-minute stroll. I watched couples wandering out in the evening, and honestly, I get why they rate this spot so highly — there’s something romantic about having authentic tapas bars, boutique shops, and historic sites all within walking distance. You can grab morning coffee at a local café, spend the day exploring, then return to freshen up before dinner without any hassle.
The Room Experience
The rooms here strike that perfect balance between comfort and character. Mine had traditional Spanish touches — think warm terracotta tones and wrought iron details — but with modern amenities that actually work properly. The air conditioning was a lifesaver during those hot Andalusian afternoons, and the Wi-Fi never gave me trouble. What I really appreciated was the attention to soundproofing; despite being in such a central location, I slept well most nights. The bathrooms are compact but functional, with decent water pressure and plenty of hot water.
Neighborhood Vibes
This is where MarbellaTown really shines — the surrounding area feels authentically Spanish rather than touristy. Sure, you’ll find other visitors, but you’re also sharing the streets with locals heading to work or meeting friends for evening drinks. The nearby restaurants range from traditional family-run places to more contemporary spots, and I found myself discovering new favorites each night. During the day, the old town has this lovely, relaxed pace where you can wander without feeling rushed or overwhelmed by crowds.
Why Guests Keep Coming Back
After spending time here, I understand the high ratings — it’s not about having the fanciest amenities or the biggest rooms. MarbellaTown succeeds because it puts you exactly where you want to be in Marbella, with comfortable accommodations and genuine hospitality. The staff knows the area well and offers solid recommendations without being pushy. For couples especially, there’s something appealing about having this authentic Spanish base where you can easily slip into the rhythm of old town life, then retreat to a peaceful room when you need downtime.
Locals suggest to book apartments in Marbella around La Concha foothills for breezy mornings, farmers markets, and starlit plazas.

Reviews of MarbellaTown
Agnieszka from United States (9/10)
It was a great stay at the MarbellaTown apartments. We stayed in apartment number 3 with two balconies overlooking the most amazing Plaza de los Naranjos. The apartment was clean, spacious enough for 3 adults and had everything we needed including a very efficient and quiet air conditioner.
The apartment was perfect for us. However, I wouldn’t recommend this particular apartment for people who go to bed early or are light sleepers. The night life at the plaza goes on way pass midnight and it can get loud even with the windows closed.Sarah from United Kingdom (8/10)
