I mean, couples absolutely love this location — and I get why, because there’s something romantic about having authentic tapas bars and traditional shops right at your doorstep.

The Rooms

The room I stayed in was compact but cleverly designed, with traditional Spanish tiles and wooden beams that reminded me why I love staying in historic buildings. Everything felt clean and well-maintained, though don’t expect huge spaces — this is old town Marbella, after all. The air conditioning works well (crucial in summer), and the beds are surprisingly comfortable. What I really appreciated were the little details: good lighting for reading, decent water pressure in the shower, and windows that actually keep the street noise to a minimum.

Atmosphere & Experience

There’s this relaxed, authentic vibe here that you don’t always find in tourist-heavy areas. The common areas have character — think exposed stone walls and cozy seating where you might chat with other travelers or plan your day. The hotel attracts a nice mix of couples and solo travelers who seem to appreciate the quieter, more genuine side of Marbella. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re staying in someone’s carefully restored family home rather than a generic hotel.

  Perfect accommodation in the vibrant centre of Old Town Marbella rooms are well appointed in a building that is attached to a wonderful Tapa popular restaurant. Morning includes coffees and simple pastries. Staff are marvellous. Everything is great. .

  Stunning house in the middle of the old town Marbella. Within walking distance to all the shops, bars and restaurants and situated in a lovely square with 3/4 restaurants below. So nice to wake up and stroll around the streets. We faced the square on a Friday night and no issues with noise.
