Villa Tiphareth Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Villa Tiphareth, you immediately notice this isn’t your typical hotel chain property. The building has that classic Spanish villa charm that actually feels authentic rather than touristy — white walls, terracotta details, and just enough character to make you feel like you’ve discovered something special in Marbella. It’s tucked away on Calle Narcisos, which honestly took me a minute to find the first time, but that’s part of what makes it feel like a local secret. The entrance is welcoming without being flashy, and you get the sense this three-star property focuses on getting the basics really right.
Location & Getting Around
Here’s what I love about the location — you’re close enough to Marbella’s action but far enough away that you’re not dealing with the constant buzz of the main tourist strips. Calle Narcisos is in a residential area that feels genuinely Spanish, where you’ll see locals going about their daily routines. The beach is definitely walkable if you don’t mind a 15-20 minute stroll, though I’d recommend grabbing a taxi or rental car for exploring the wider Costa del Sol area. Speaking of cars, the free parking here is honestly a game-changer — anyone who’s tried to park in Marbella during peak season knows what a relief that is.
The Rooms
The room I stayed in was clean, comfortable, and had that slightly old-school European hotel vibe that I actually find charming. Don’t expect cutting-edge design or smart TVs, but everything works well and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The air conditioning does its job during those hot Andalusian summers, and the bathroom, while compact, had good water pressure. What struck me most was how quiet it was at night — the residential location really pays off when you’re trying to get some rest after a long day exploring the coast.
Breakfast & Amenities
The continental breakfast is straightforward but satisfying — fresh bread, decent coffee, some local touches that make it feel more authentic than the typical hotel spread. You’re not getting an elaborate buffet, but there’s enough variety to fuel your morning adventures. The staff running breakfast are genuinely friendly and seem to remember guests after a day or two, which adds a nice personal touch. I mean, it’s not going to win any awards, but it gets the job done and saves you from hunting down breakfast in an unfamiliar neighborhood.
Why Couples Choose This Place
I can totally see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something romantic about the intimate scale and authentic Spanish atmosphere. You’re not lost in a massive resort complex, and the quieter location means you can actually have conversations on your balcony without competing with pool parties or street noise. The combination of reasonable rates, free parking, and that genuine local feel creates exactly the kind of relaxed base that lets you focus on exploring Marbella together rather than dealing with hotel hassles. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re experiencing the real Spain, not just the tourist version.
Marbella’s hotels wrap guests in jasmine-scented gardens, rooftop lounges, and concierge-led flamenco evenings.

So beautiful and close to the beach!

We had a hotel room, with direct access to the courtyard. It is a suitable accommodation during the summer. The host was very accommodating and friendly, she offered us everything we needed. Access to the pool is unlimited, it is a quiet accommodation. Unfortunately, we had a room with 2 single beds and it was a little uncomfortable for us, but that was the option we had when booking. The room has air conditioning

This was my first visit to Marbella, and I would've normally stayed in the city center to be close to everything. However I only stayed at this location because it was closer to a house my friends were renting up the mountain. It was a bit more of an expense having to take Uber everywhere. This was a cute "local" experience staying in these villas. Nice hospitality and staff. They provided two bottled waters upon arrival and had towels and even washcloths, which is rare for European accommodations. There is a refrigerator, hair dryer, hand soap by the bathroom sink and a soap dispenser in the shower, but I always take my own bar of soap, shampoo and conditioner because you never know what you'll get in European hotels. There was no iron in the room, but I'm sure the property would let you use theirs. The little pool was a nice amenity, although I didn't use it since I was barely at the property. The size of my villa was great for a solo traveler. Overall, I recommend this place in cooler months unless you get a room that has air conditioning during the summer.

Absolutely lovely little set of villa rooms. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Room was beautiful, larger than expected and aircon! Nice pool, all kept very clean. Would definitely visit again!

Lovely villa and poolside area. The host went beyond to help us by driving out to pick us up when our GPS failed which was very helpful. Room was quiet and clean and the free towels were a nice touch.

Lovely small hotel with a garden with beautiful trees and flowers. Lila little private oasis. The room was comfortable and we had our own terrace outside with a table under the lemon tree. Good breakfast by the pool and the owners are very friendly and service minded. A very friendly place that I would really recommend, we had a great time!
